OnePlus may soon be expanding its smartphone portfolio in a new direction. According to a tipster on X, the company is currently developing an entirely new lineup of entry-level smartphones for the Indian market.
Dubbed the OnePlus N series, the upcoming family is said to sit below the Nord lineup, making it OnePlus’ most affordable smartphone range to date. While the Nord series currently serves as the brand’s mid-range offering, the new N series is reportedly being positioned for the entry-level segment.

The tipster claims that OnePlus plans to launch multiple devices under the N branding, with each model targeting a different price tier. However, all of them are expected to be priced below INR 20,000 (around PHP 13,300), putting them in direct competition with budget-focused offerings from REDMI, realme, and POCO.
If the report proves accurate, the move would mark a significant expansion of OnePlus’ strategy in India, where the budget smartphone segment remains one of the most competitive categories in the market.
The leak also suggests that the first OnePlus N smartphones could debut as early as July, meaning the official announcement may only be weeks away.
For now, details about the devices themselves remain under wraps. However, with a potential launch drawing closer, more specifications and information are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
As always, this remains an unconfirmed report until OnePlus makes an official announcement. Still, the prospect of a dedicated entry-level lineup could make OnePlus a much stronger contender in the highly competitive sub-INR 20,000 segment.
