The leaks are starting to trickle in, painting a picture of a device that could seriously disrupt the segment. Forget minor incremental updates; if these whispers are accurate, the Nord 5 might be gearing up to deliver some flagship-level features without the flagship price tag.
Leading the charge is the rumored MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. This isn’t your average mid-range silicon; it suggests OnePlus is aiming for a significant leap in performance, promising a snappier, more capable experience for everyday tasks and gaming alike.

(We did see some mentions of a 6650 mAh rated capacity and 80W charging in some spots, but the 7000 mAh/100W combo seems to be the more prominent rumor – we’ll see which one sticks!).

The rumored price point in India is around Rs 30,000. If OnePlus can deliver these rumored specs at that price, the Nord 5 could be an absolute steal and a major headache for the competition.
Of course, until OnePlus officially pulls back the curtain, these are still leaks and rumors.
