Oppo A3x leaks: Military grade toughness, D6300, 5100mAh battery, 45W charging, IP54 rated

OPPO appears set to launch a new mid-range contender in India, the A3x. Thanks to a leak from industry sources obtained by TheTechOutlook, we can get a glimpse of the phone’s design and specs ahead of its official reveal.

Leaked promotional materials showcase the OPPO A3x’s design, featuring a dual-camera rear with a flat panel. The phone boasts a military-grade shockproof build and multi-liquid resistance (IP54 rating) for added peace of mind. On the front, a bright display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits is expected, ideal for outdoor viewing. The front camera sits discreetly within a punch-hole cutout.

The leak suggests a phone with a flat display panel with rounded corners and visible bezels. The volume buttons and power button reside on the right side, while the SIM tray is on the left. Color options are rumored to include Purple,Sparkle Black, and Starlight White.

Moving inside, the OPPO A3x is expected to run Android 14 with OPPO’s ColorOS 14 on top. Powering the device is likely the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A large 5,100mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging keeps the phone running, all housed in a slim 7.68mm body. Interestingly, the leak also suggests the Oppo A59 might be discontinued upon the A3x’s launch.
