Entry-level device might be the best OPPO phone yet under this category with lots of perks and features–you’re in for a treat
The Oppo A58 5G smartphone was revealed by Oppo in China last month. The cost-effective 5G phone included a 50MP dual camera setup, an HD+ display, and a Dimensity 700 processor. In the domestic market, the business has introduced a new product dubbed the Oppo A58x, which sits below the A58.
The 6.56-inch LCD screen of the Oppo A58x 5G has a waterdrop notch. It has a 720 x 1612 HD+ resolution, 269 ppi pixel density, a maximum brightness of 600 nits, a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 90 Hz, and Panda Glass protection. The phone is powered by ColorOS 12.1 and Android 12.
The Oppo A58x 5G has a Dimensity 700 processor, 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage on both of its variants. To add extra storage, the gadget has a microSD card slot. The A58x’s 5,000mAh battery can be charged at 10W.
For taking selfies and making video calls, the A58x sports an 8-megapixel camera. A 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and an LED flash are all located on the device’s rear panel. A fingerprint scanner is included into the power button on the right side.
A USB-C connector, twin stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio socket, dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and other capabilities are also available on the A58x. In contrast, the Oppo A58 5G provides a 50-megapixel primary camera and 33W charging.
It measures 163.8 x 75.1 x 7.99mm and weighs around 186 grams. The remaining specifications are the same on both phones.
Priced at 1,200 Yuan or about ₱9,632. Oppo A58x 5G’s model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is available. Breeze Purple, Tranquility Blue, and Star Black are the available hues.
