OPPO is getting ready to launch its biggest-battery smartphone yet. The company has officially confirmed that the OPPO A7 Pro Max will debut in China on August 4, becoming the first OPPO smartphone to feature a massive 10,000mAh battery, following the growing trend of ultra-high-capacity batteries seen in recent Android devices.
Ahead of its launch, OPPO’s official listing has already revealed several key details. The A7 Pro Max will be available in Black, Orange, and Blue, with three memory and storage configurations:

- 12GB + 512GB
The listing also gives us an early look at the phone’s redesigned rear panel, featuring a new camera module and a plastic frame.
Previous leaks from Digital Chat Station, along with Geekbench benchmark listings, paint a clearer picture of what to expect. Despite housing a huge battery, the phone is said to measure just 8.47mm thick and weigh 226g. On the front, it reportedly sports a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the OPPO A7 Pro Max is rumored to feature a 50MP selfie camera, while the rear houses a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP secondary sensor.
Powering the device is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, as revealed by its Geekbench appearance. The chipset will be paired with the phone’s headline feature: a 10,000mAh single-cell battery with support for 80W wired fast charging, making it one of the largest batteries ever fitted inside an OPPO smartphone.
