The OPPO Find N5 boasts incredible toughness despite having an ultra-slim profile for a foldable smartphone.
Foldable smartphones will become the next-level premium flagships, so long major issues are resolved. The durability of the hinge system is usually the concern, more prone to wear and tear than bar phones.
However, OPPO is making a statement that not every foldable is fragile. The brand highlighted the ingenious engineering results in the OPPO Find N5 – the world’s thinnest foldable; likely the toughest too!
The OPPO Find N5 is only 8.93mm thick when folded and it only weighs 229g. It’s only two grams heavier than the iPhone 16 Pro Max and three grams lighter than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Don’t underestimate its lightweightness because the OPPO Find N5 has been tested for toughness, particularly its hinge system. A report revealed that the foldable device was used as a 45-pound kettlebell swing and it survived without snapping into two or breaking its display. This flex was done with the device totally bare; no phone case involved.

The OPPO Find N5 is expected to be launched on February 20. It’s also water resistant with IPX6/X8/X9 certification.
