Oppo Find X6 revamped specs could be the perfect challenger for Xiaomi 13.

It is now believed that OPPO’s supposedly upcoming Find X6 series of high-end Android smartphones would come with telephoto lenses of specs that may match or even be superior to those of the new Xiaomi 13 Pro in some ways.

As in earlier rumors, these specifications are once again connected to a new Sony sensor. However, this fresh leak is alleged to have originated from the OEM themselves this time.

A press render of what is thought to be the Oppo Find X6 has appeared online, and it shows a considerable redesign from the flagship smartphone’s previous iteration. Oppo intends to introduce two new foldables before the year is out, but the Find X6 series, which will be its next-generation flagship, won’t be available until 2023.

OPPO Find X6 New render vs Previous render

The Find X6’s rear camera system is shown in the first image, which was released by serial leaker Evan Blass @evleaks. The image demonstrates Oppo’s decision to use a huge rectangular camera island that takes up roughly half the phone’s length and more than half its width. Three sensors are housed on the enormous camera island, one of which is probably a telephoto zoom camera based on the lens’ rectangular form.

According to projections, the lens will have an equivalent length of roughly 64.5mm as opposed to the upcoming Xiaomi flagship’s 75mm. However, the OIS for this camera on the X6 Pro, which is absent in the 13 Pro, may give it the advantage.

Once more, according to Digital Chat Station, OPPO will choose the “periscope” style lens for its upcoming super-zoom solution whereas Xiaomi did not. Last but not least, the leaker’s remarks include the cryptic statement that “both cameras are outsole periscopes,” which may imply that the vanilla Find X6 could benefit from the same new type of zoom lens as the X6 Pro.
