OPPO Find X8 is rumored to have Quick Button that works on the camera app and even games.
New leaked images of the upcoming OPPO Find X8 surfaced and it revealed two features from the iPhone family.
Courtesy of popular tipster DigitalChatStation, the first two parts of a pic highlighted a punch hole cutout for a lone selfie shooter. The third featured Apple’s Dynamic Island but not surprising as some brands have added “Dynamic Bar” to many models already.
What may yield awe and some boos is the “borrowing” of the iPhone 16’s Camera Control. A new report showed a poster noting the Quick Button of the OPPO Find X8 Series, with the line: “Freeze the Action, one click away.”
The Quick Button works like Camera Control. You can slide over it to zoom in and out of a subject. It appears OPPO used capacitive technology with a vibration motor for this feature. It’s also usable in games but for what exact function isn’t confirmed at this time.
A dedicated camera key on smartphones isn’t a new thing. Sony is a major brand that includes it in many of its Xperia smartphones. You can still see it in the current Xperia lineup.
Anyway, the OPPO Find X8 is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming flagship Dimensity 9400 and sport the following:
- 6.5 to 6.7 inches flat screen
- 1256 x 2760 display resolution
- 50MP main camera
- 50MP ultra-wide lens
- 3x periscope telephoto camera
- 5,600mAh battery
- 100W fast charging
The OPPO Find X8 Series is reportedly launching in October.
