OPPO’s Find series product manager, Zhou Yibao, has officially shot down inaccurate leaks while confirming several key details about the upcoming OPPO Find X9. This direct communication provides the clearest look yet at the phone’s design and core specs.
Design & Build

The most notable changes are in the OPPO Find X9’s design. Zhou Yibao confirmed that a widely-circulated render of the device is fake. Instead, the Find X9 will feature a more refined, professional look with a new “cold-sculpting” process. A titanium color option, seen in the leaked renders, is official. The entire series will also move to flat displays, breaking from the curved-screen trend of previous models.
Battery & Charging
The company has confirmed a significant focus on battery life for the OPPO Find X9. The phone will feature a “uniquely large Glacier battery” with rumored capacities of up to 7,025mAh. The official also confirmed an upgraded 55W PPS fast-charging support, a substantial leap from the previous 33W.
Other Confirmed & Rumored Specs
Beyond the official confirmations, here’s a look at other key specs reported by multiple sources:
- Processor: The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. The Find X9 Ultra will likely feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
- Cameras: The series is rumored to include a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The Hasselblad partnership and new imaging hardware will continue.
- Features: The phones are tipped to include ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and a robust IP66/68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
- A Debunked Rumor: The product manager also directly denied that the phone would launch with a 24GB RAM + 2TB storage configuration.
Do you think it’s a good strategy for a company to officially debunk leaks before a product launch?
