It’s been a while since OPPO developed some kind of an experimental device but thankfully, they’re finally taking the plunge with their first flip phone
In order to compete with the Galaxy Fold and Mix Fold, Oppo released the Find N last year. Currently, the company is developing a different foldable with a clamshell design. The device will have a 3.26″ panel on the outside and a 6.8″ screen within, according to Digital Chat Station.
According to the rumor, both the main foldable screen and the screen on the cover will be OLED displays. Larger diagonals imply a larger total footprint, which suggests that the 4,300 mAh battery rumor may be accurate. As for the name, the title “Reno Flip 5G” is been tossed around. If this is true, this is the first flip phone for the mid-range category since the Reno series is under a mid-range scope.
Additionally, we anticipate a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 32 MP selfie camera with a Sony IMX709 sensor, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor.
All of these sensors have already been used in several Oppo smartphones, including the Find X flagship and Reno midrange models. Given that the leakster typically gets the specs right, a new Oppo foldable could be on the horizon.
