Sa panahon ngayon, it’s always better to have a credible source of information, and that includes if your money is fake or not.
OPPO recently applied for a patent for their technology that can detect fake money. Malalaman mo na kung nabudol ka sa store ng pekeng one thousand, or the other way around, that is, you’ve received fake money from a customer.
This patented technology by OPPO is currently called currency identification technology. This includes collecting information from the sensors including depth of field and color, as well as the information related to the image itself, as a whole. All these information will be compared to a database of information that was taken from the original currency.
In simpler words, the new tech will use the camera to compare information about the image and then compare it to information from real money.
At this point, it’s still not 100% accurate, so this might not be the most reliable when released. But seeing mobile phones have evolved in just a span of a year, hindi matatagalan bago maging accurate ang currency identifican technology by OPPO.
Who knows? Other brands may already start with this tech any time soon.
