OPPO is pulling the curtain back on its upcoming K-series refresh, and the K15 Pro lineup is shaping up to be unusually aggressive even before launch. With official teasers already confirming key hardware, both the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ are leaning hard into performance, thermals, and battery endurance.
Active cooling takes center stage
Both the OPPO K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ will feature a built-in cooling fan, paired with LED lighting on the rear panel. An approach more commonly seen in gaming phones. OPPO is also equipping both models with IPX9-rated fans, meaning the cooling system itself is designed to withstand high-pressure water exposure.
The standard K15 Pro goes a step further with a large vapor chamber, reinforcing its focus on sustained performance under load.
Oppo K15 Pro
The K15 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Super chipset, targeting strong mid-to-high-end performance.
On the front, it features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, striking a balance between smooth visuals and efficiency.
Battery life looks like a major highlight, with a 7,500mAh capacity backed by 80W fast charging.
For cameras, OPPO is keeping things practical:
- 50MP main sensor with OIS
- 8MP ultrawide camera
- 16MP front-facing camera
Durability is also a focus, with the device carrying an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
In terms of configurations, the K15 Pro will be available in:
- 12GB + 256GB
- 12GB + 512GB
Color options include Cyber Wings, Golden Legend, Origin Gray, and Photodust.
Oppo K15 Pro+
The K15 Pro+ pushes things further with a more premium setup. It will run on the Dimensity 9500s chipset, positioning it closer to flagship territory.
It also upgrades to a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for faster and more secure unlocking.
Battery capacity increases to 8,000mAh, now paired with 100W wired charging.
Camera hardware is slightly simplified but still capable:
- 50MP main camera
- 8MP ultrawide
- 16MP selfie camera
Like its sibling, it also carries an IP69 rating.
The K15 Pro+ will be offered in:
- Cyber Wings
- Origin Gray
- Photodust
Memory configurations remain the same as the standard model: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
