While initial rumors pointed to a powerful Dimensity 9300 processor, the latest information suggests a shift towards the upcoming Dimensity 8350. This unexpected downgrade from the Reno 12 Pro’s Dimensity 9200+ might raise eyebrows, hinting at a slightly less performance-focused approach for the Reno 13 Pro.
However, OPPO seems to be compensating with other premium features. The device is expected to boast a larger 6.83-inch quad-curved display, offering an immersive viewing experience. The camera setup is likely to remain consistent with the predecessor, featuring a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP selfie camera.
One of the most significant upgrades could be in durability. The Reno 13 Pro’s engineering model reportedly boasts an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, surpassing the IP65 rating of the Reno 12 Pro. Additionally, wireless charging, a feature absent in the previous generation, is expected to make its debut.
