OPPO Reno 8 is just around two months old and we’re getting some infos about the Reno 9 already direct from China
OPPO Reno 8’s was well received during its PH launch around one to two months ago, and now the BBK company is working on the upper mid-range OPPO Reno 9 already.
Numerous leaks regarding the box design were leaked days ago, and now the camera array is also been leaked by Weibo tipster @熊猫很禿然 showing the camera island of the upcoming smartphone.
The camera design appears to be the same as the Reno 8 with twin large cutouts with a single small hole. The LED ring flash is still there, but the image suggests that another module is been added likely with a different color temperature. There are no concrete infos regarding the Reno 9’s camera but another earlier leak hints at a 64MP main sensor.
A departure from the Dimensity 1300 on the Reno 8 in exchange for a Snapdragon 778G 5G is also rumored to be on the Reno 9 as well, the Pro Version however is expected to have a Dimensity 8100 chipset with an additional 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery capacity which is the as the Reno 8.
It is expected to debut in China in around November or December this year, but for now, we will provide new infos whenever there’s news surrounding it.
