What if your next phone was wide enough to look like a foldable, but didn’t actually fold? OPPO is reportedly working on exactly that, and it could come with a 200MP camera.
The rumored OPPO Reno X is a non-folding wide-screen smartphone tipped to feature a 200MP main camera and a periscope telephoto, according to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station.

The phone is reportedly designed similar to a non-folding version of the Huawei Pura X, with its 16:10 display giving it a much wider shape than conventional smartphones.
The camera setup could be the phone’s biggest surprise.
The Reno X is tipped to combine a 200MP primary camera with a periscope telephoto, although the sensor sizes and optical zoom details have not been revealed.
The unusual design reportedly won’t come at the expense of performance. OPPO is said to be testing the phone with a Dimensity 9-series chipset and a huge 7,000mAh battery.
The phone could also be unveiled alongside the OPPO Find X10 series, although no launch date has been confirmed.
Interestingly, Huawei has also been rumored to be developing a non-folding Pura X variant, making this unusual wide-screen design an interesting trend to watch.
