OPPO Reno8 Pro released a GoT-inspired design

What do you get when a medieval fantasy series clashed with a smartphone (somehow)? We get a confusing yet beautiful mess…

Oppo has introduced the Oppo Reno8 Pro: House of the Dragon Limited Edition smartphone in India. As suggested by its name, Oppo collaborated with the makers of the well-known television series House of the Dragon to produce the Reno 8 Pro House of the Dragon Limited Edition. That’s a mouthful of phone name!

The special edition is a box set with a number of bonus extras. It arrives in a specially designed black box together with a collectible gold-colored dragon egg, a keychain bearing the House Targaryen Sigil, and a phone holder bearing the dragon emblem.

The gadget shares the same specifications as the normal Oppo Reno8 Pro. The 12GB + 256GB version of the OPPO Reno8 Pro House of the Dragon Limited Edition is available in India for Rs 45,999 or around ₱30,990 starting today (December 13) at 12:00 PM, Flipkart will be the only place to purchase the smartphone.

The 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen of the OPPO Reno 8 Pro boasts a refresh rate of 120Hz. A MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage are all included inside the smartphone. Android 12 runs the system, with ColorOS 12.1 placed on top.

Three cameras are included on the rear of the OPPO Reno 8 Pro: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for taking selfies and making video calls. A 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability powers the Reno 8 Pro.

For further protection, it boasts an in-display fingerprint scanner. Other features include 5G, Bluetooth, and GPS.
