Owners of iPhone 15 Pro models can enjoy preliminary Apple Intelligence features ahead of iPhone 16 arrival.
Got an iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max? If you do, you can now experience the first set of Apple Intelligence features, courtesy of iOS 18.1 public beta.
The Apple Intelligence was originally set for first-hand experience on the iPhone 16 but the public beta of iOS 18.1 expands to the Pro units of the last series. So, how to get the features?
Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates > choose iOS 18 public beta option. Keep in mind that this is a beta release and it may contain bugs here and there.
Once the update is done, go to Settings > Apple Intelligence and Siri > Join the Apple Intelligence waitlist. The default language is US English and if you want to use Apple Intelligence on localized English, you have to wait until December.
What features will you get from the beta version? The first wave of features includes:
- Transcribe audio calls and audio notes in the Notes app.
- Rewrite, proofread, and summarize written material.
- Create memories on the Photos app.
- Make typewritten requests to the assistant.
Smart replies, notification summaries, and email prioritization, among others, are also available in the initial wave. Image generation, ChatGPT, and more Siri features are arriving in the coming months.
