Developer Kinetic Games has announced a brand-new map for Phasmophobia called Nell’s Diner. Drawing inspiration from old-school American roadside diners, this map promises a tighter, more intense ghost-hunting experience set to launch sometime before the end of 2025.

A Retro Diner with a Chilling Twist

Nell’s Diner is built on a winding desert highway, featuring neon signs and the kind of atmospheric decay that Phasmophobia thrives on. The map is said to be slightly larger than the 6 Tanglewood Drive map, meaning it offers compact tension with new exploration potential: 13 unique rooms, 11 of which may be haunted.

One of the standout rooms is the walk-in freezer, an environment that adds a new layer of difficulty and fear to ghost hunts.

What Players Can Expect

The layout is designed to speed up rounds and heighten suspense. Expect less wandering, more hiding, faster confrontations. The map also includes new interactable objects and hidden loops to challenge even veteran players.

Release Window and Updates

Phasmophobia’s New Map 'Nell’s Diner' Opens Soon

Kinetic Games hasn’t provided an exact date yet for Nell’s Diner, but confirms it will arrive later in 2025.

As part of the same content roadmap, the reworked Grafton Farmhouse map will launch on August 12, 2025. That will help set the mood for what’s coming next.

Maps have always been a major part of Phasmophobia’s appeal, and by introducing Nell’s Diner, Kinetic Games is offering something familiar yet fresh. The emphasis on story-telling through environment and atmosphere shows the game is moving beyond just ghost hunting into full world-building.

For long-time players, this is a welcome change of pace. For newcomers, this could be a compelling entry point. The diner setting gives the map a distinct identity that sets it apart from the farmhouse and cabin themes of the past.
