Motorola has announced the fourth generation of its Moto G Stylus series, which it has named the Moto G Stylus 2023. It should not be mistaken for the Moto G Stylus 5G. The Moto G Stylus 2023 packs a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.
It also has a 6.5-inch 720p display, similar to the Moto G 5G 2023, but with a slightly lower 90 Hz peak panel refresh rate, compared to the latter’s 120 Hz refresh rate.
The device measures 162.89 x 74.08 x 9.19 mm and weighs 195 g, with a 50 MP primary camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and an 8 MP front-facing camera. Although the cameras are not optically stabilized, the front-facing sensor supports 2D face unlock, while a fingerprint scanner provides a more secure biometric authentication method. The Moto G Stylus 2023 is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery.
Starting on May 5th, Motorola will begin selling the Moto G Stylus 2023 in the US, and it will be available later this year through mobile network carriers. The company has confirmed that the handset will retail for US$199.99 (about Php 11,059) in the US, which is $50 cheaper than the Moto G 5G 2023, another phone that Motorola unveiled today.
