Xiaomi has released the successors of its Pad 5 series with the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro in China. While both tablets share identical hardware outside their SoCs, the Pad 6 Pro has better specifications than the Pad 6.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which they claim allows for a steady 58.7 FPS on Genshin Impact. In comparison, the Pad 6 has a Snapdragon 870 processor, which is still a solid improvement on the Pad 5’s Snapdragon 860.
The Pad 6 Pro also offers up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, while the Pad 6 has up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro model features 67 W wired charging, which charges it up in 62 minutes, versus the standard Pad 6’s 33 W charging and 99-minute charge time.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is available for purchase in China, while buyers can pre-order the Pad 6 Pro, which will be fully released on April 21. It is priced at €330 which is around Php 20,330.
