Poco, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, is set to release an entry-level phone, the Poco C51, in India. The phone appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A2+ and will feature a 6.52-inch HD+ display.
The Poco C51 will run on Android 13 Go Edition out of the box, a lightweight version of the Android operating system optimized for low-end devices. However, the downside is that Go Edition has limited features compared to the standard Android version.
The phone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 processor and will have 3GB/4GB of RAM. This should be sufficient for basic tasks such as web browsing, social media, and light gaming. The phone will also support up to 7GB of memory via virtual RAM, which can enhance its performance by increasing the available memory.
The Poco C51 will support 4G LTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS location services. It will also feature a rear fingerprint scanner, a 5,000 mAh battery, and an 8MP rear camera. There is still no official price yet but we will be sure to update you once there is.
