The disc drive and DualSense Edge will likely be sold separately when the PS5 Pro is launched.
Many are excited about the launch of the Sony PlayStation 5 Pro this year. They probably want great teasers of the design.
Recently, a popular insider leaked the design. But if you’re planning to get a PS5 Pro, get a grip because there’s something concerning.
First, billbil-kun revealed in a sketch that the console’s cover has the three stripes. Second, the front includes two USB-C ports and the power button. Third, where’s the disc reader? It wasn’t shown in the sketch.
Based on that, owners will need to buy it separately, which has been made available since the launch of the PS5 Slim Digital Edition. Another thing the insider believes is the inclusion of DualSense only. Meaning, the DualSense Edge is a premium and must be bought separately.
Despite these possible concerns, the PS5 Pro may do well with its hardware upgrades, including the 2 TB storage, quieter design, and better cooling than its predecessor.
Earlier reports suggested that Sony Interactive Entertainment may reveal the console next month. It will attend the Tokyo Game Show 2024 as an exhibitor. Finger-crossed!
