Design and Display

The POCO M4 Pro comes with a beautiful, colour accurate AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen measures a wide 6.6 inches, perfect for viewing media, and the 1080×2400 resolution allows for clean and sharp pictures. Kailangan mo na rin mag sunglasses sa gabi with the 1000 nits of peak brightness.

Part of the identity of the M Series is using the standard plastic frame and plastic back, but it feels premium upfront with the glass overlay. There’s an extra layer of protection provided by the Gorilla glass.

Syempre meron na rin NFC for cardless payments (parang Apple Pay), 3.5mm jack (thank God), and IR Blaster.

POCO M4 Pro is available in POCO Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue.

Camera

POCO M4 Pro has a 3-camera setup beside the prominent POCO branding. The layout is very similar to that of the earlier POCO M series, and the main camera is able to capture images in 64MP. There’s also an ultrawide camera for panoramic shots, and a macro lens.

The selfie camera uses a wide angle lens to get a bokeh effect, and can record videos of 1080p at 30 fps.

Chipset

The POCO M4 Pro runs on a powerful Mediatek Helio G96 which can also be found in the new Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G. Users can expect a longer-lasting battery and better performance from the phone.

The Mediatek Helio G96 chipset is more than able in this price range. The Mediatek Helio G96 gives competition to Qualcomm’s SD 480 5G.

The POCO M4 Pro scores a good 350,000 points on Antutu, and with several apps installed on our test unit, that score is more than enough to show how capable the phone is.

Battery and Storage

Di na mabibitin sa Mobile Legends ang mga fan ng POCO since the POCO M4 Pro has a 5000 mAh battery, with 33 W fast charging capable of fully charging it in just under 59 mins (‘yun sabi sa website nila).

For those who want extra storage space for games, movies, and downloads, the POCO M4 Pro has a massive 128 GB memory. There’s also a 256 GB variant, and is SD expandable up to 1 TB.

Price

The POCO M4 Pro retails for PHP 12,990 for the 6GB/128GB version, and PHP13,990 for the 8GB/256GB version. The base variant is for sale on Lazada.
