The Indian variant of the POCO M7 Pro 5G was spotted on Google Play listing before its launch.
On Google Play, the smartphone was listed with the model number 2409FPCC4I and the “I” indicated that it’s an Indian variant. It received the nickname “POCO M7 Pro 5G” and codename “beryl.”
Although the listing didn’t show any specs, POCO India unveiled the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and Android 14 with HyperOS.
It’s also reported to have a 50MP Sony LYT 600 OIS main camera with f/1.5 aperture, 20MP selfie camera, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.Â
The device’s display is a 6.67” G-OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,100 nits of peak brightness, under-display fingerprint reader, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Users of the POCO M7 Pro 5G will get two major OS upgrades, from Android 14 to Android 16, and four years of security updates. It’s launching on December 17 in India on Flipkart.
