POCO has officially introduced the POCO M8s 5G, a new smartphone built for users who prioritize long battery life and a large display. The device focuses on everyday performance while adding modern software tools, including Google AI features, and carries specifications similar to the POCO M7 Plus 5G.
The POCO M8s 5G features a 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz for smoother scrolling and gaming.
Brightness reaches 850 nits in High Brightness Mode and 700 nits typical brightness. The panel also includes Wet Touch Technology 2.0, designed to keep touch input responsive even when the screen or hands are wet.
For extended viewing comfort, the display has earned triple TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications to help reduce eye strain.
Running the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 6nm 5G chipset, paired with an Adreno 619 GPU clocked at 900MHz.

On the front, users get an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
POCO also adds creative tools such as AI Erase and AI Sky, allowing users to edit and enhance photos directly on the device.
The standout feature is the phone’s 7,000mAh battery, which POCO says can last up to two days on a single charge.
