The POCO X7 Series has arrived and leading the charge is the top-of-the-line POCO X7 Pro, now added to our illustrious tier list.
Similar to what POCO did on the X6 Series, the POCO X7 Series has an aggressive pricing matched with high performance to meet the user demands. The Pro version is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra, a mid-range chipset with flagship-like capabilities.
We say flagship because the AnTuTu points alone, of over 1.7M, is enough to justify what it can do. To augment performance, the POCO X7 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Not that different compared to its predecessor though.
Another deal breaker here is the new silicon-carbon battery technology. This allowed the brand to keep the handset’s slim size and increase the overall capacity from 5,000 to 6,000 mAh. Sadly, POCO made the 6,550 mAh version exclusive to India.
With an SRP of just 17K, the POCO X7 Pro gets the same grade as its predecessor: “Super Sulit.” That price guarantees an exceptional package, consisting of solid performance, decent cameras, tanky battery, durability, and rapid charging.
The only thing that could go toe-to-toe, at least, with this mid-ranger powerhouse is the POCO X6 Pro in terms of performance-to-value ratio.
