For stills, the camera app leans toward realism. Colors are not oversaturated and shadows are not axed, suggesting a more natural image processing. The f/1.5 aperture of the IMX882 is maximized here, catching enough light to precisely capture subject details, which are retained when zoomed in.
Sky shots appear impressive. One of our shots captured the gloomy vibe of a cloudy day. Both whites and grays are preserved without overprocessing nearby trees, protecting the graphical message of the photo.
The ultra-wide shot is decent for memories and social media stories. It’s enough to capture subjects but details are a bit weak when you zoom in. It also has a slight weakness in strong lights, so turn on the HDR.
