POCO X7 Ranked

POCO X7, the first POCO to sport a 3D curved display, has joined our illustrious tier list!

The base model of this year’s POCO X7 Series is an upgrade of last year’s offering.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra and Mali-G615, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The notable thing here is the Mali-G615, the same GPU on the POCO X6 Pro, suggesting higher clock speed and better graphics rendering.

As mentioned, the POCO X7 has a 3D curved AMOLED display that spans 6.67 inches with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s bright too with 3,000 nits of max brightness.

Another upgrade is the Sony IMX882 main camera, which has 4K video and OIS support. Augmenting captures are AI tools courtesy of HyperOS 2 out of the box.

Compared to its predecessor, the smartphone is more durable with IP68 dust and water resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

That said, the POCO X7 gets “Super Sulit” because of the changes and aggressive pricing of 15K SRP. Unlike the previous generation, the new model leans more as an all-rounder, affordable mid-range mobile solution.

Alternatives? It’s a challenge if you’re looking for the same combination of curved screen, 1.5K resolution, excellent durability, and great performance.

For the POCO route, you can go for last year’s POCO X6 Pro and its amazing raw performance or spend a bit more for the even better POCO X7 Pro.

You can check out the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G for camera features or the Infinix GT 20 Pro for a gaming-centric experience.
