Xiaomi is giving the POCO X8 Pro a fresh look with the introduction of a new Bold Yellow color option, aiming to put the mid-range smartphone back in the spotlight months after its launch.
According to Xiaomi, the new Bold Yellow finish takes inspiration from racetracks, combining bright yellow panels with black accents around the frame. The contrasting frame design is a relatively uncommon touch in today’s smartphone market and gives the device a more aggressive appearance.
The rear panel also gets a distinctive makeover. It features an industrial-inspired design with visible bolt-like elements and a semi-transparent aesthetic, helping it stand out from the existing color options.
The POCO X8 Pro’s Dynamic RGB LED lighting around the camera module remains part of the package, although it was not showcased in the official promotional images.
The new Bold Yellow variant joins the existing Black, White, and Mint Green colorways, as well as the Iron Man Edition that was introduced earlier this year.
As for configurations, the Bold Yellow version is available in 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 512GB, and 12GB + 512GB variants. Unlike the standard color options, it skips the 12GB + 256GB configuration.
Xiaomi has set a launch price of $369 for the Bold Yellow edition, making it slightly more expensive than the POCO X8 Pro’s original $330 launch price when it debuted in March.
Aside from the new paint job, the POCO X8 Pro remains unchanged, with the update focused entirely on introducing a more eye-catching design option for fans of the device.
