POCO X8 Pro spotted on several certification platforms, can we expect it to drop anytime soon?

Yesterday, we published an article about REDMI confirming the launch of the REDMI Turbo 5 series later this month which you can read here. This gives us a pretty good idea of when the next POCO X series might arrive.

Why the REDMI Turbo Series Matters

If you’ve been living under a rock, here’s a bit of context on why this matters. Historically, POCO’s X series, and even some of the F series, have shared major similarities with REDMI’s Turbo lineup, both in terms of design and specifications.

That’s not at all surprising given both companies are under the brand Xiaomi.

POCO X8 Pro Spotted

Going back to the rumored POCO X8 Pro, the question of whether POCO will adopt a similar three tier lineup, as teased by REDMI with a new Max variant, is still up in the air.

For now, what we do know is that the POCO X8 Pro has been doing the rounds on multiple certification platforms, including EEC Certification in Europe, BIS Certification in India, and SGS Certification.

Now it adds Indonesia to that list by clearing their SDPPI certification database, although the listing doesn’t provide much insight.

It’s also now appeared in Indonesia’s SDPPI Certification albeit without any further information.

What We Know So Far

Despite the lack of information from these certification listings, details about the POCO X8 Pro’s hardware are already floating around.

According to insiders, the device is expected to feature MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 8500 chipset with an all big core design, a sizable 6,500 mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging, and a 1.5K LTPS OLED display running HyperOS 3 straight out of the box.

What This Means for POCO in 2026

As always, these are still rumors, so take everything with a grain of salt. That said, if even half of this turns out to be true, 2026 could be shaping up to be an exciting year for POCO fans, especially after the X7 series’ warm reception in the Philippines.
