While Qualcomm still hasn’t laid out the features of the 8s Gen 4, rumors point to the chip featuring a 1+3+2+2 architecture, comprising a high-performance Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.21 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 3.01 GHz, two additional Cortex-A720 performance cores, and two Cortex-A720 efficiency cores running at 2.80 and 2.02 GHz, respectively.

For the GPU, the 8s Gen 4 is expected to include the Adreno 825 GPU, a slightly trimmed down version of the Adreno 830 found in the 8 Elite. Benchmark scores indicate that the new chipset will perform at a level that the 8 series is known for, achieving scores of over 2 million points.

There are already a few phones slated to integrate the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, including the REDMI Turbo 4 Pro, iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, and OPPO K13 Pro. These phones are expected to launch shortly after the 8s Gen 4’s debut.
