realme 14 Pro Series launched: SD 7s Gen 3, 6000mAh battery, 120X SuperZoom, color-changing design and more

realme 14 Pro+ vs. realme 14 Pro: What Sets Them Apart?

realme has officially unveiled the highly anticipated realme 14 Pro and realme 14 Pro+ in India. Both smartphones share an eye-catching design with a color-changing backplate, a circular camera island, and the signature “MagicGlow Triple Flash.” However, it’s the realme 14 Pro+ that truly stands out with its premium specifications and advanced features. Let’s dive into what makes the Pro+ the superior choice.

realme 14 Pro+: Style Meets Innovation

The realme 14 Pro+ comes in three stunning color options: Pearl White, Suede Grey, and the India-exclusive Bikaner Purple. The Pearl White variant steals the spotlight with its cold-sensitive technology, transforming its color from white to shades of blue when exposed to temperatures below 16°C.

Specifications and Features: Why the Pro+ Reigns Supreme

Display

The realme 14 Pro+ boasts a larger 6.83-inch micro-curved AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution (2800×1272). In comparison, the standard realme 14 Pro features a smaller 6.77-inch screen with a lower FHD+ (2392×1080) resolution.

Performance

Under the hood, the Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, offering a noticeable performance upgrade over the Dimensity chip in the Pro model. Both phones run on realme UI 6.0, based on the latest Android 15, and house a robust 6000mAh battery. However, the Pro+ takes the lead with 80W fast charging, compared to the Pro’s 45W.

Camera

Photography is where the realme 14 Pro+ shines. It features a 50MP Sony IMX896 (1/1.56″) primary camera, paired with a 50MP 3x periscope lens supporting 120X SuperZoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, there’s a high-resolution 32MP front camera.

On the other hand, the realme 14 Pro offers a smaller IMX882 (1/1.95″) main sensor, a basic 2MP monochrome lens, and a 16MP selfie camera.

Pricing and Availability

The realme 14 Pro+ starts at ₹29,999 (around ₱20,300) for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB models are priced at ₹31,999 (around ₱21,700) and ₹34,999 (around ₱23,800), respectively. With up to ₹4,000 (around ₱2,700) in bank offers, you can grab one for as low as ₹25,999 (around ₱17,700).

Meanwhile, the realme 14 Pro is more budget-friendly, starting at ₹24,999 (around ₱17,000) for the 8GB+128GB variant and ₹26,999 (around ₱18,300) for the 8GB+256GB version.

The realme 14 Pro+ is available for pre-booking on Flipkart, realme’s official website, and at authorized retail stores.
