realme has recently unveiled its realme 13 Pro and Pro+ models in India, with the standard realme 13 5G also on the horizon. While the popular number series typically progresses sequentially, a surprising development has emerged. According to a report from 91mobiles Hindi, realme will bypass the realme 14 series entirely and jump directly to the realme 15 lineup.
The decision to skip number 14 is attributed to the number’s inauspicious connotations in Chinese culture. A realme executive confirmed the news, indicating a strategic shift for the brand.
In addition to the number change, the realme 15 series is expected to feature a revamped camera design, departing from the circular module seen in the current lineup. The company aims for a complete aesthetic overhaul with this new generation.
Given the recent launch of the realme 13 Pro series, the realme 15 lineup is anticipated to arrive towards the end of this year or early next year. While details about the realme 15 series remain scarce, speculation is rife about its features and specifications.
As a reminder, the realme 13 Pro and Pro+ boast impressive features, including 120Hz displays, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processors, 32MP front cameras, and 5,200mAh batteries.
