Following REDMI’s buzz, another “R” brand is stepping into the spotlight. realme has officially confirmed the launch of the 15 Series this September.

The launch is expected to churn out three phones: the base realme 15, the 15 Pro, and a new model making its first appearance, the realme 15T. Similar to Xiaomi’s naming scheme, the 15T will be positioned below the base 15 but still retains all the essential features that the base and Pro has.

Let’s go over some of the leaked specs of the realme 15T. As per reports, it is rumored to feature a 6.57-inch flat display with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max chipset, a fairly capable mid-range chipset.
Design leaks are scarce, but well-known tipster Digital Chat Station hinted at a Dynamic Island-style cutout for the selfie camera and sensors—something that could set the 15T apart in its segment.

But perhaps the main highlight of the realme 15T is its battery. Reports point to a massive 7000 mAh battery, paired with an 80W fast charging support. And, despite the large battery, it’s rumored to maintain its slim profile at just 7.79mm.
Given realme’s emphasis on camera performance, the newcomer is speculated to feature a 50 MP on both the rear and front camera. Whether it comes with a dual or triple rear camera setup remains to be seen. But we can expect high-quality shots from both the rear and front cameras.
Final Thoughts
As with any leak, take them with a grain of salt. Until it’s confirmed, it’s not yet final. But if we’re going to go by the current leaks, the realme 15T looks to be a capable mid-range device that could give its competitors a run for their money.
We’ll definitely be on the lookout for the realme 15T when it launches in September. For now, be sure to follow us on our official channels to make sure you stay updated on the latest news regarding the realme 15T.
