realme has officially confirmed when the realme 16x will debut in India. After weeks of rumors, the company announced that its newest smartphone will launch on August 12, while also revealing several key specifications ahead of the event.
The device is already listed on realme India’s official website, giving fans an early look at what to expect.
One of the biggest highlights of the realme 16x is its 7,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries in its segment.
The phone will support 45W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge the large battery more quickly.
Under the hood, the realme 16x will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor. To help keep temperatures under control during gaming and demanding tasks, realme is also including a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system.
On the front, the realme 16x features a display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, promising smoother scrolling and improved outdoor visibility.
The phone also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, providing added protection against everyday splashes and dust.
For photography, the realme 16x is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera housed in a dual-camera setup.
The camera module also includes an RGB light ring, which sits alongside the LED flash and gives the phone a more distinctive rear design.
The realme 16x will ship with Android 16 out of the box.
realme has also committed to two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates, offering longer software support for the device.
