realme has expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the realme C83 5G, a device that focuses on long battery life, a high refresh rate display, and durable build features while remaining in the affordable segment.

The realme C83 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels. One of its standout features is the 144Hz refresh rate, which aims to deliver smoother scrolling, gaming, and overall system animations compared to typical budget phones.
The display can reach up to 900 nits of brightness and supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate, improving responsiveness during everyday use and gameplay.
Dimensity 6300 Powers the Device
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
The phone comes with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with support for dynamic RAM expansion and microSD storage expansion up to 2TB.
On the software side, the device runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.

The smartphone went on sale starting March 7, 2026, and is available through Flipkart, the official realme website, and offline retail stores. Buyers can also take advantage of up to six months of no-cost EMI options through participating retailers and platforms.
