realme has officially set October 21, 2025 as the launch date for its next flagship lineup: the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro. A teaser page is live, building hype ahead of the reveal.

Rumors about GT 8 Series
Leaks point to the Pro version running a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Some reports even suggest the base GT 8 may also use the same chipset, narrowing the gap between the two.
The GT 8 Pro is rumored to feature a flat 2K OLED display with high refresh rates (144–165 Hz in leaks). Battery specs point toward at least 7,000 mAh capacity, possibly larger, and fast charging support.
Camera leaks are ambitious. The Pro model reportedly includes a 200 MP periscope telephoto sensor paired with a 50 MP main camera and possibly a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. realme has confirmed a collaboration with Ricoh Imaging for the GT 8 Pro’s imaging system, hinting at advanced color profiles and optical tuning.
Other rumored features include a circular or triple camera module design, stereo speakers, and IP resistance for durability.
The Ricoh partnership is a standout. It could give the GT 8 Pro a unique edge in camera quality, especially in how images look and feel.
