realme GT 7 Pro: IP69, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, 16GB+1TB memory, 50 MP periscope camera

The realme GT 7 Pro is expected to become a top-tier alternative over other flagships later this year.

realme launched the GT 6 smartphone recently but that’s just the intro of the brand’s plan this year. The real deal, no pun intended, is the upcoming GT 7 Pro, powered by the soon-to-be-launched flagship processor.

With its anticipated release before the year ends, rumors pile nonstop that leaked many of its key specifications. The game changer is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 on the realme GT 7 Pro.

This is paired with 16 GB of RAM and a whopping 1 TB of internal storage. Still, we’re unsure of other storage variants.

Another game changer of the realme GT 7 Pro is the 50 MP periscope telephoto, part of the triple-rear camera setup. This telephoto lens can do 3x optical zoom.

The realme GT 7 Pro is also the brand’s first GT smartphone with IP69 – a major upgrade. Having that IP rating and top-notch chipset make this device a worthy competitor in the flagship mobile segment.

Here’s the list of key specs revealed so far:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
  • 16 GB RAM
  • 1 TB ROM
  • 1.5K LTPO panel
  • 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom
  • Silicon-negative cathode battery
  • Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor

The brand’s first try of two GT smartphones in a year is part of the shift where at least two of such kind are set for release every year. The realme GT 7 Pro is likely a series with a non-pro expected to be launched as well.
