realme GT Neo5 confirmed to have Dynamic Island-esque notch with RGB Lighting

realme is going all the way with its GT Neo5, if 240W charging isn’t enough for you, get a load of its Dynamic Island notch and RGB lighting!

On February 9 in China, realme will make the realme GT Neo5 official. The business intends to make the announcement at MWC 2023, which will take place at the end of this month.

The business today unveiled a promotional video to showcase all of its features and overall design. The realme GT Neo5 has an RGB LED light unit on the back panel, as can be seen.

When the phone’s battery level falls below 20%, it glows red. The purple light will always be on when the percentage is over 20%.

When there is an incoming call, the RGB light unit will flash purple, while it will glow white for messages. According to tipster WHY LAB, different colors will be displayed while playing games. For example, different light effects for various weapons will be present in shooting games.

The realme GT Neo 5 will come with a feature akin to the iPhone’s Dynamic Island, as seen in the screen capture from the video below. Regarding the phone’s front design, the GT Neo5 has a flat display with a punch-hole that is positioned in the middle.

On the device’s top edge, an IR blaster and microphone are visible.

According to rumors, the 6.74-inch AMOLED screen on the realme GT Neo5 will have a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will come preloaded with Android 13 OS with the realme UI 4.0 on top. With up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, the GT Neo5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.

In comparison to the 5,000mAh battery variant, the 4,600mAh battery variant may support 240W fast charging. It is anticipated to ship with a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890 with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit and a 16-megapixel front camera.
