After weeks of teasing the public, realme has finally unveiled the two new additions to their 14 series of mid-range phones, the realme 14 5G and the realme 14T 5G.
Just a few weeks back, realme launched their 14 Pro series starting with the 14 Pro 5G and the 14 Pro+ 5G. But now, realme is stepping into the competitive mid-range scene with the 14 and 14T, offering a blend of style and performance in a competitively priced package.
Let’s start with the realme 14 5G. Powering the device will be the recently launched Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM (expandable up to 26GB) and 256GB of internal storage. I know some of you will complain about the choice of chipset but realme has implemented some performance optimization that will surely deliver buttery smooth performance.
These optimizations come in the form of GT Boost and a Vapor Chamber Cooling System, perfect for these hot summer days. It also packs a substantial 6000 mAh battery that can last you through the day, if necessary.
Design-wise, both the realme 14 5G and 14T 5G feature the rectangular camera island as opposed to the Pro series’ circular form. And, to distinguish which one is the more performance-oriented, the 14 5G will come in Mecha Silver, Storm Titanium, and Warrior Pink.
Meanwhile, the realme 14T 5G is positioned as a more accessible entry into the series. With the device sporting a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. As for colors, the 14T 5G is available in Surf Green, Obsidian Black, and Lightning Purple.
Other than that, there’s really not much difference from the 14 5G. It’ll still come with the same 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, large 6000 mAh battery, and the performance enhancements that we’ve previously mentioned. Oh, and it also does come with the same 50 + 2 MP rear camera setup paired with a 16 MP front selfie camera.
The realme 14 5G is priced at PHP 17,999, while the realme 14T 5G is available for PHP 14,999.
