realme Narzo 80 Pro: The Next Budget Champion you don’t want to miss

realme is once again looking to make a splash in the mid-range gaming smartphone scene with the upcoming launch of their Narzo 80 Pro and 80x on April 9th. These devices aim to offer a blend of high-end features without the ridiculous price.

Measuring just 7.5mm in thickness and weighing 179 grams, the Narzo 80 Pro 5G is one of the lightest and slimmest mid-range phones that money can buy. The Narzo 80x, on the other hand, comes in a little thicker at 7.94 mm.

For performance, the Narzo 80 Pro 5G will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. Meanwhile, the Narzo 80x will be a step down at Dimensity 6400. Both will come equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery, but only the Narzo 80 Pro 5G will have 80W charging.

What makes the Narzo 80 Pro 5G enticing to gamers is the improved cooling design featuring a substantial 6,050mm² VC cooling system, perfect for those extended gaming sessions. It’ll also support bypass charging so you’ll never have to worry about stopping your current session just to charge your phone.

How much will that set me back?

As for the price, realme is advertising the Narzo 80 Pro 5G as coming just under ₹20,000, which is ₱13,355.85 in Philippine pesos. While the Narzo 80x is rumored to be just under ₹13,000 or ₱8,682.93 in our currency. Now, to be clear, that’s a direct conversion; prices will still be a little different if released in our country.

But if that pricing does hold up, the Narzo 80 series could compete with the likes of the recently released POCO M7 Pro 5G. Although there’s still no news about realme bringing the devices to the Philippines.

Would you buy the realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G if it comes to the Philippines?
