Expect two realme GT phones per year moving forward – one base model and one pro model.
The latest flagship killer, realme GT 6, is officially launched but the brand wants to redefine this series. Instead of just one, at least two GT phones are planned for launch annually going forward.
According to a report, realme Global Marketing President Chase Xu revealed the plans for globally releases of two GT smartphones minimum. This new definition of the realme GT series means at least one base model and one pro model annually.
If you haven’t heard, there are rumors of the upcoming realme GT 7 Pro powered by the much-awaited Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It’s a flagship and flagship killer at the same time! It also suggests that a realme GT 7 is currently in the works, but we can’t be sure of the processor.
Why redefine the series? realme possibly saw the potential of the GT series to become the main offering and is now pushing for the idea.
Not bad because other brands are doing the same, giving flagship killers and gaming-centric models a chance in the spotlight. Also, there’s a growing demand in smartphones with killer performance that cost far less compared to premium flagships.
