nubia is gearing up to launch a pair of high-end smartphones in the Chinese market: the nubia Z70 Ultra and the REDMAGIC 10 Pro series. While the Z70 Ultra is a traditional flagship device, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro lineup is specifically designed for gamers. Both series will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
REDMAGIC 10 Ultra: A Gaming Powerhouse
According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro series will include an “Ultra” variant. This top-tier model is expected to offer an even more immersive gaming experience with an exceptionally large screen, likely exceeding 7 inches. The Ultra variant will also feature a flat display with an under-display camera for a seamless viewing experience.
To fuel extended gaming sessions, the REDMAGIC 10 Ultra is rumored to pack a massive battery, potentially ranging from 6,600mAh to 7,000mAh. While nubia hasn’t officially confirmed the Ultra model, recent teasers suggest that a more powerful and larger Pro series device is in the works.
nubia Z70 Ultra: A Premium Flagship
Alongside the REDMAGIC 10 Pro series, nubia is also preparing the nubia Z70 Ultra for the Chinese market. This device is expected to feature a slightly smaller display, around 6.9 inches, and will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Like the REDMAGIC 10 Pro series, the Z70 Ultra will likely feature an under-display camera for a full-screen design.
REDMAGIC 10 Ultra and nubia Z70 Ultra release date
Both the REDMAGIC 10 Pro series and the nubia Z70 Ultra are anticipated to launch in China before the end of this year. The REDMAGIC 10 Pro series is rumored to debut in November, while the Z70 Ultra is expected to follow shortly after.
