REDMAGIC 9S Pro+ is a beast of another level with the Leading Version of Qualcomm’s current flagship processor.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is still the best mobile processor for smartphones in terms of performance. This is courtesy of REDMAGIC 9S Pro+, launched in July and is powered by the “Leading Version” of that chipset.
According to the latest charts from AnTuTu, the number one in the August 2024 high-end models is REDMAGIC 9S Pro+ with 2,127,528 points. It was followed by the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and iQOO Neo9S Pro+.
Six of the models in this category are powered by SD 8 Gen 3 while four others are powered by either MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ or Dimensity 9300. Regardless, all top 10 scored more than 2 million points. So, if your phone gets the same scoreline, it’s considered at the top of the food chain.
In the upper mid-range category, leading the pack is the OnePlus Ace 3V with Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 at 1,421,209 points. Other chipsets in this category include the Dimensity 8300 Ultra with 1,349,017 points, Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 with 1,145,403 points, Dimensity 8200 with 967,627 points, Dimensity 8100 Max at 885,096 points, and Dimensity 8000 Max with 840,982 points.
If your phone gets a score between 1.4 million and 840K, it’s considered an upper mid-ranger and likely can run almost every app and game you throw at it. That said, an excellent daily driver should have at least 840K points.
