REDMI has officially introduced the REDMI 17C, bringing a high refresh rate display, a large battery, and the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset to the entry-level segment, all at a very affordable price.
The REDMI 17C features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with a 720 × 1640 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness, offering smoother scrolling and better outdoor visibility for everyday use.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. Buyers can choose between 64GB or 128GB of storage, with support for microSD card expansion for additional space.
For photography, the device comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,160mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging, making it suitable for all-day use without frequent charging.
The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking and runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box.
