Xiaomi has officially launched the REDMI K100 Pro and REDMI K100 Pro Max in China, bringing flagship-level performance, 185Hz displays, 200MP cameras, and huge silicon-carbon batteries to the latest K-series lineup.
While the two phones share a similar design and several core features, REDMI has given the Pro Max meaningful upgrades in the display, telephoto camera, ultrawide camera, and battery.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V vs regular version
The biggest performance difference comes from the chipsets.
The REDMI K100 Pro uses Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series (SM8850-1-AB). It is a binned version of the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with the main difference found in the GPU.
Its Adreno 840 GPU has two cores running at 1.2GHz, compared with three cores clocked at 1.3GHz on the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The K100 Pro Max, meanwhile, gets the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Both phones can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, although the Pro Max also offers a 16GB + 1TB configuration.
Both displays push 185Hz
REDMI is taking a different approach to the two displays.
The K100 Pro has a 6.56-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 2,510 × 1,156 pixels and a 185Hz refresh rate.
The K100 Pro Max goes larger with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display at 2,608 × 1,200 pixels, while keeping the same 185Hz refresh rate.
That makes the Pro Max the better choice for users who want a larger screen, while both models target gamers who can take advantage of the high refresh rate.
200MP cameras, but the Pro Max goes further
Both phones feature a 200MP main camera using the same 1/1.56-inch sensor.
The big camera upgrade comes with the telephoto and ultrawide cameras.
The K100 Pro has a 2.5x telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide.
The K100 Pro Max gets a much more capable 50MP periscope telephoto camera using the Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor, with 5x optical zoom. It also upgrades the ultrawide to a 50MP OV50M sensor.
Both models also feature a Bose-tuned rear subwoofer, adding a more unusual audio feature to the flagship lineup.
Huge batteries and 100W charging
Battery capacity is another area where the Pro Max gets an upgrade.
The REDMI K100 Pro packs an 8,580mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the REDMI K100 Pro Max increases that to 9,070mAh.
Despite the different capacities, both phones support the same charging setup:
- 100W wired charging
- 50W wireless charging
- 27W reverse wired charging
Both models also carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ingress protection ratings for added resistance against dust and water.
