Early details about the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro Max have surfaced online, offering the first glimpse at Xiaomi’s next high-end REDMI flagship.

According to reports, Xiaomi is already developing the REDMI K100 series, which will reportedly include two models: the REDMI K100 and the REDMI K100 Pro Max.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Chips Expected

One of the key details revealed in the leak concerns the processors. The standard REDMI K100 is rumored to run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the higher-end REDMI K100 Pro Max could feature an even newer chip believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.
If accurate, this would position the Pro Max as the most powerful model in the lineup and likely Xiaomi’s next performance-focused Redmi device.
Early Development Stage
The leak also revealed internal details tied to the phones’ development. The REDMI K100 reportedly carries the codename “athens” with the internal model number Q11, while the K100 Pro Max is said to use the codename “songyuan” and the designation Q11X.
However, both devices are still believed to be in early development, so specifications and features may change before the official launch.
Possible POCO Rebrands
If Xiaomi follows its usual strategy, the REDMI K100 series may not remain exclusive to China. Previous Redmi K-series models have often been rebranded for global markets under Xiaomi’s POCO lineup.
Current speculation suggests the REDMI K100 could launch internationally as the POCO F9 Pro, while the REDMI K100 Pro Max may appear globally as the POCO F9 Ultra.
Too Early for Full Specs
Aside from the chipset information, other specifications remain unknown for now. The REDMI K90 series launched only recently, meaning Xiaomi’s next-generation K100 lineup is likely still months away from an official announcement.
For now, the leaked details mainly suggest that Xiaomi is preparing another performance-focused REDMI flagship, potentially powered by Qualcomm’s next wave of Snapdragon processors.
