Redmi has confirmed that it will showcase its “annual heavyweight product” at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31 in Shanghai. While the company hasn’t officially named the device, multiple reports indicate the Redmi K100 series will be unveiled during the event ahead of its expected launch in August.
The teaser reveals that the product will be displayed at Qualcomm Snapdragon’s N5-02 booth and carries the phrase “Demon King arrives,” a nickname closely associated with the Redmi K series. Reports also suggest Redmi could announce the K100 series’ launch timeline during the event.
Earlier this month, a Xiaomi smartphone with model number M511CD was certified with 100W wired fast charging. The device is widely believed to belong to the Redmi K100 lineup.
Three models reportedly coming
Leaks claim the Redmi K100 series will include three models:
- Redmi K100
- Redmi K100 Pro
- Redmi K100 Pro Max
The K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max are expected to launch first, while the standard K100 could arrive later this year. This would help fill the pricing gap between the previous Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max.
Flagship specs expected
Previous reports suggest the Redmi K100 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with the Pro models possibly featuring a dual-chip architecture.
The phones are also rumored to feature:

- 200MP main camera
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera
- Telephoto macro support
- 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is also expected to retain its exclusive triple-speaker 2.1 audio system.
Battery capacity is another major highlight. Current reports point to batteries exceeding 8,000mAh, while newer leaks claim Redmi is also testing a 10,000mAh battery for the series. The devices are expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the design side, the K100 series is rumored to feature a metal frame, a color-matched glass back, and a large horizontal camera module inspired by recent flagship smartphones.
For global markets, the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max are expected to be rebranded as the POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra, both of which have already appeared in certification databases.
