A new wave of leaks about the Redmi K80 Pro surfaced and it included the bold camera design. The device is an alleged bearer of an unreleased flagship chipset.

According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the smartphone is a powerhouse with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 installed. To match the processor’s potential, the device will have three rear cameras.

Speaking of cameras, the rear camera module is circular but without flashy decorative elements. It’s claimed to house a 50 MP main camera with a large sensor and a 50 MP telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom. The third lens may be an ultra-wide sensor.

The Redmi K80 Pro will also sport a 2K flat OLED display and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The back is made of glass and a metal frame in the middle finishes the unibody.

DCS didn’t mention the battery capacity of the smartphone but they already suggested a 5,500 mAh battery with 120 W rapid charging back in May. We may still see it getting an even bigger 6,000 mAh battery.

As for the features, we can expect that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will bring AIGC and other AI–centric perks. These will surely up the ante in raw performance, visual content, and even mobile gaming.

It may launch after the next-generation Xiaomi flagship smartphone rolls out.
