REDMI has officially unveiled the REDMI K90 Max, a smartphone that continues the K series tradition of pushing aggressive hardware at competitive prices. The new device arrives with a flagship chipset, an integrated cooling fan, and a massive 8,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W fast charging.
Powering the REDMI K90 Max is MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and as much as 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
REDMI also equips the phone with a dedicated Xiaomi D2 graphics chip, aimed at boosting gaming performance and visuals. According to the brand, the device scored 4,161,374 points on AnTuTu v11, highlighting its flagship-class capability.
One of the K90 Max’s standout features is its built-in active cooling fan, working alongside a large 6,000mm² vapor chamber.
REDMI claims this cooling system can lower internal temperatures by up to 10 degrees, helping sustain performance during long gaming sessions or demanding workloads.
More impressively, despite the active fan system, the phone still carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
The REDMI K90 Max features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 2722 x 1280 resolution, 12-bit color depth, and a 165Hz refresh rate.
The TCL-made panel uses M10 luminous technology and can reach up to 3,500 nits peak local brightness. It also includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Inside the punch-hole cutout is a 20MP front camera, while audio is handled by stereo speakers tuned by Bose.
For photography, the K90 Max comes with a 50MP Light Hunter 800 main camera using a 1/1.55-inch sensor and OIS support.
It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera using the OV08F sensor.
On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 on top.
Battery life is another headline feature. The REDMI K90 Max packs an 8,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, paired with:
- 100W wired fast charging
- 22.5W reverse wired charging
- Bypass charging support
This setup is designed for heavy users who want both endurance and fast top-ups.

The REDMI K90 Max is available in Black, Blue, and Silver color options.

Open sales in China have already started. Xiaomi has not yet announced any global launch plans.
With flagship internals, advanced cooling, a huge battery, and a high-refresh-rate display, the REDMI K90 Max is shaping up as one of the most ambitious performance phones in its segment.
